The vision of Karen Wright Projects is to work on planning policy and major projects that:
- support transport choice and sustainable transport options
- support housing choice including affordable housing
- enhance existing urban environments, and
- address climate change.
Urban environments should be functional, enjoyable, interesting, relaxing and support our desire for community, as well as the need to be alone. A primary aim is to create liveable cities and towns for all people.
Urban planning provides a means for bringing together disparate views, consider community interests and integrate technical and professional knowledge. By working with, and coordinating the interests of the community, with the expertise of architects, builders, developers, engineers, environmental scientists, heritage specialists and urban designers we can create better places for everyone.
